Graduating is a great achievement, a special day to mark the end of one adventure and the start of many others.
There will be formal graduation photographs, but whether it’s for you, a friend or a family member, a stunning hand-drawn architectural portrait of the graduation venue, personalised with a photograph and words of your choice is a truly unique way to commemorate this special event.
If your graduation has already happened then ask your guests to send you photos they are happy for you to use. Try and ensure the size of the image is a big as possible and that I would be able to cut around you without losing anything.
You then need to browse the Formats page to decide whether you would like a framed or unframed canvas or a framed or unframed print. If you choose a framed option think about what colour frame would be suitable for where the print will hang.
Also decide if you would like to add some personalised text to the print. On the Formats page you will see the font options for your text so think about what style you would like your text to be and also what you would like it to say.
Take or find a photograph of the venue you want drawn. For Bristol graduation ceremony venues I am producing studies from a range of sketches and photographs of my own which will make this step very simple. For venues outside Bristol you will just need to email me your photographs after you submit your order.
You will also need a photo of you from the day. If your graduation is in the future then ask someone at the ceremony to take a range of photos of you that could be used as shown in the examples here. A 5 megapixel camera or bigger on full resolution should take a good enough image. You will need permission to use them so please ensure your friend or family member is happy with this.
If you would like to give a graduation venue print as a gift but would rather the recipient made all the choices then why not order the voucher option? It’s an easy way to give something very special to a friend or family member. I will explain to them what photographs they need to take and what the process is when they redeem the voucher. What a lovely surprise!
